Grab a cuppa, tell a story or listen to one.

Everyone loves stories. Everyone has a story to tell.

The Gray Matters In Life

I am itching to write something. I have not written anything in a long while. But I don’t know what to write. It is just a longing that comes from within, without an agenda associated to it. So I stare at the blank screen for some indefinite time and then type these few lines in a jiffy. What if they were to vanish too ?
Nah! It’s not the writer’s block. I have enough  stories to tell. I just do not know how to put words to most of them. I do not know if I know how to tell them.

And then the most tragic thing happened!

A Day of Fun for Me!!!

Children’s Writing Festival : Story #6

Written By : Swar Jain, an almost teenager!

When the weather is bad and there are gray skies outside, being stuck in the house can be tedious. Most people look at this as a depressing day to stay home on the couch watching TV and feeling sorry for themselves. People should look at a rainy day as an opportunity, an opportunity to do things you usually don’t or can’t do on normal days because they are simply hobbies or not that high on your priority list. And so, I will explain what I would do to make a rainy day stuck at home, to a day full of fun. Go ahead, do something different and learn something new.

It’s raining cats and dogs!

Children’s Writing Festival : Story #4
Written By : Avani. She is a voracious reader, she actually does not read books. She eats them up. So it isn’t a surprise that she is a fabulous writer too. Her writing has been published on our blog before as well.

“It’s raining cats and dogs!!” I screamed. Images of beagles and poodles falling out of the sky flashed through my head. My mom just stared at me. I quickly threw on jeans and a sweater while still thinking what dog I would like. ”Honey, be careful. It’s wet outside and wear a jacket”, Mom shouted after me. Maybe once the dogs and cats flew out of the sky, they peed almost immediately and hence the wet part. But the jacket part made no sense whatsoever. I called my friends and told them it is raining cats and dogs. Like me, they screamed in delight. We all ran outside and saw….
